2019 Missouri High School Football Ranking

I am not sure how the State High School league determines home field for these next play-off games but you can bet it ISN'T based on my rankings.  How can they make a nationally ranked team, like De Smet, travel to Raymore-Peculiar for a game they should win by five touchdowns?  It can't be based upon any rankings, can it? There are other highly favored teams on the road this Friday and Saturday also, so I have fudged the spreads by including a three point home field advantage.  A couple of games may be decided by the home field but the heavy favorites shouldn't be bothered much by traveling. I have predicted 223 out of 275 district games so far for a 82% accuracy.  This week's 22 games will be a lot closer so if I can stay above 65% for this week, I think I will be doing great. I like the smell of turkey basting in the oven at Thanksgiving.  That smell adds 5 pounds to my waistline, just inhaling deeply.  This weeks' District Finals picks for Missouri HS football leaves me smelling a little crow roasting in the oven. I guess I am not eating crow with 71% accuracy but I really missed on the class one schools.  How do you not pick Valle Catholic over any opponent?  But I thought Hayti had a chance.... And how about that Lift for Life effort against Lutheran North?  Lost 6-0 but I had the spread at 35.  Great effort there! I did real well on the other classes so I will take 70% with two games today still to be played.  I still think St. Mary's wins at McCluer and that Borgia gets by Roosevelt without their head coach, Trey Porter.  Maybe the Rough Riders are looking for bear and upset Borgia.  Who knows?
